A neat corner finish starts with choosing trim that fits the space. Before buying self-adhesive corner trim, check the corner angle, the width on each side and the surface you plan to use it on.
1. Check whether your corner is internal or external
The Smart Finds 5m white TPE trim is designed for compatible 89°–90° internal corners. Do not choose it solely because a photograph looks similar to your project. Check the shape and angle of the actual corner first.
2. Measure the profile as well as the length
This roll has an approximately 27 × 20mm profile. Measure the space available on both sides of the corner and check that the trim will sit where you need it. A long enough roll can still be unsuitable if its profile does not fit.
Measure each section separately, then add the lengths together. For example, sections of 1.2m, 1.5m and 1.8m total 4.5m, leaving 0.5m from a 5m roll before allowing for cuts or mistakes. That example is a planning aid; measure your own project before ordering.
3. Check the surface before fitting
The self-adhesive backing needs a suitable clean, dry surface. Surface texture and condition matter, so do not assume it will adhere to every wall or edge. Ask for product advice if you are unsure about your surface.
This is a finishing accessory. It does not replace structural repairs and is not sold as a verified waterproof seal. If your project needs either of those, choose a solution suited to that job.
4. Understand the colour shown in the photographs
The trim is white. The red strip visible in the product photographs is the peel-off backing on the adhesive side. The listing is for one 5m roll; comparison photographs may also show a shorter roll. Review the listing details alongside the images so you know what you are ordering.
